České Budějovice, the south Bohemia capital, is situated at the confluence of Vltava and Malše rivers. The town was established by the king Přemysl Otakar II and it is famous for its rich history. The most remarkable places are the unique town square, the Town hall and Samson fountain.
Ceske Budejovice is also well known for its local brewery called Budějovický Budvar.
